Myste Morning Coffee

As a model, actress, writer, and now host of my own television show, Myste Buzzed On Paradise, I get to travel the world and visit some of the best plantations in search of the perfect cup! 

One of the most moving and memorable aspects of my journeys is all the wonderful people I meet in these countries, especially the locals who labor on these coffee farms, the backbone of the industry. Generations of honest, hard-working people who live their life by coffee. Every bean that is processed for your cup is individually selected by them. There are 501 billion cups of coffee consumed every year, which means over 1.5 trillion coffee beans are hand picked for your coffee dirinking pleasure. I think it is time we returned the favor.

Though they are a poor people they are always willing to share a smile with you, or an empanada! It is their incredible devotion to the process of making the highest quality coffees that inspires me and encourages me to do what I can to give back to these amazing people. The Grounds for Change Foundation was born out of this inspiration which is why the proceeds from every bag of Myste Morning purchased goes to these dedicated families of coffee farmers. We’ve created the Myste Morning Grounds for Change Foundation in order to provide better support for them through the donation of food, hygiene, and clothing essentials, as well as toys and monetary gifts. Here is a chance to not only start your day off right, but make someone else’s a better day as well!

In my travels, I will find you the best arabica coffee the world has to offer.  We will contract with the plantation to package that coffee and make it available to you.  The proceeds will go to the "children of the plantations".

Our first production of Myste Morning comes from the Naranjo County plantations, one of the premiere coffee growing regions of Costa Rica. This region has united under the Naranjo Community Development Association to create a support structure for the dedicated farmers of this county.  The origin of the Cooperativade Productores de Café y Servicios Múltiples de Naranjo R.L. (Naranjo Coffee Growers' and Multiple Services Cooperative, LLC) goes back to the early 1960s.

We discovered this delightful cooperative on our Espiritu Santos Coffee Tour. They are certified by all accredidation commissions, including Starbuck's C.A.F.E.  Practices. This organization has established a practice of providing for their workers which we able to contribute to under the Grounds for Change. We have already contracted with them to package their premium coffee under the Myste Morning brand, and look forward to being able to work with them further in providing their people with aid.  You can actually order directly from them, and the proceeds will automatically go to the children of that area.

Morning is a time of quiet magic, my favorite time of the day. I love to savor the first moments of a new dawn with a steaming hot cup of coffee. Oftentimes, this daily ritual is the only few minutes of calm I’ll have all day to simply appreciate the beauty of the world around me.

I know you understand the feeling of there just not being enough time in the day. Unfortunately, because of the mad rush that is so many of our lives, we so often take for granted the blessing it is to have another day. I invite you now, then, to STOP! Take a moment to relish the gift that is now. Forget yesterday, take your focus off of tomorrow, and be in today. Let your favorite cup of coffee be your anchor to the moment. Relax. Relish. Renew.
